5 TIPS TO GROW YOUR INSTAGRAM
First of all, why do YOU need to increase the number of followers? What is your goal? What is your long term vision for your IG?
- Value the followers you already have!
There’s no point in having 1 million followers if you don’t pay attention to any of them. You have to value each of your followers. When your followers feel valued, they will comment and help you grow.
We are all human beings and we need to build a connection with others.
- Have a public account.
How will people know what you have to offer if your account is private? It’s important for people to see what you have to offer them before the desire to follow you arises.
- Interact.
Don’t publish a post and run away. Like, comment and chat with your followers too. No one likes it when people don´t respond to them. Reply to every message, comment, reaction. Interact with your audience by showing interest in their stuff as well.
Start and continue conversations. This goes for everything on Instagram. We cannot expect people to engage with us if we are not engaging with them. It is crucial for you to ENGAGE before and after you post. So make sure to stay around when you post. Reply to comments, engage with your followers.
- Help your followers.
What can you do today to help your follower with the knowledge you have? Set aside some of your time thinking and acting on it.
When running a business on Instagram, what you post is not for you, it´s for your audience. Make sure to interact with them. Polls, questions stickers and quizzes are great ways to do that.
